Product Description

SPA Type Plummer Block Housings Are One-piece Design Used For Mounting Take-up Pulley In Belt Conveyor Application. The Yoke Portion Allows The Connection With The Tensioning Block With A Pin And Tightening Screw. The Housing Is Guided On Rails In The Conveyor Frame; Suitable Guide Slots Are Provided In SPA Type Housings. Sizes Vary From Shaft Diameter 50 Mm To 360 Mm.

Generally SPA Take-up Units Are Used As Located Bearing Arrangement Because Longitudinal Shaft Expansion Or Variation Of Frame Is Compensated By Clearances Available Between Rail And Guiding Slots. However, As Per Customers Requirement, located And Non-located Type Arrangements Can Be Provided.

SPA Type Used To Take High Load With Shock/impact Loading At Lower Speed. They Are Sturdy And Easy To Mount For Belt Pulley Assembly. Typical Use Is For Conveyor Pulley In Material Handling Industry.
